Mrs. Jackie W. Sapp, age 78, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Monday, May 28, 2012. She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Donald L. Sapp, Gainesville, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Terry Sapp, Gainesville, GA, John and Sheila Sapp, Gainesville, GA and Keith and Paula Sapp, Woodstock, GA; grandchildren, Robert Irwin, Lindsey Sapp, Kiersten Sapp, Jessica Sapp, Brooke Sapp, Jordan Sapp and Courtney Sapp; great grandchildren, Carlie James and Myles Irwin; sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Rip Harmon, Homewood, AL; brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Ann Weaver, Opp, AL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Sapp was born February 22, 1934 in St. Louis, MO. She was a graduate of Fairfield High School in Fairfield, AL and attended the University of Alabama. She was retired from the U. S. Dept. of Labor as a compliance officer. She was a member of Frazier United Methodist Church in Montgomery, AL. She was a life master of the American Contract Bridge League. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 404 Washington Street, Gainesville, GA 30501 with Rev. Calvin Haney officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
