Mrs. Snowdell Hall Everett of Buford, GA met Jesus Saturday night, June 2, 2012, after an eight-year battle with frontal temporal dementia and Parkinson’s disease. She had been a resident of Winder Healthcare and Rehab Center in Winder, GA. Snowdell was born to Albert “Bob” and Mattie Lou (Sharpton) Hall on October 17, 1930. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Sherod Everett; grandparents, Fint “Berry” and Susan “Susie” (Day) Hall and John Wesley and Dora Mae (Miller) Sharpton; step-mother, Myrtle (Kimbro) Hall; sister, Jewell Hall; brothers, Verlon Hall, Ricky Hall and Larry Hall. Snowdell was born and raised in the Harbins Community near Dacula Ga and attended Dacula High School. She had been a long-time member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was a stay-at-home mom for her children and went to work only after they became teenagers at Fawn Tog, then at the Lovable Company. She had a great sense of spirit and an even greater sense of humor. Everyone who knew her loved her. To everyone, especially the children throughout our community, she was affectionately known as “Meemom.” She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Carolyn and Ron Buice of Buford, GA; son and daughter-in-law Thomas Wayne and Marilan Everett, Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Stephen Wayne Everett, Claxton, GA, Stanley John Everett, Cumming, Amy (Buice) and Ed Reese, Buford, GA; step-grandson, Chad and Leslie Buice, Buford; great-grandchildren, Jamie Leigh Reifert, Ronald Joseph Reifert, Aaron Richard Reese, all of Buford; step-great-grandchildren, Benjamin Reese and Joshua Buice, also of Buford; brother and sister-in-law, J. A. “Junior” and Jean Hall, Loganville, GA; sister, Letha (Hall) Fields, also of Loganville; caregivers, Eloise Finch and Jean Magruder; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral service for Snowdell Hall Everett will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Everett and Rev. Sammy Everett officiating. Interment will follow at East Shadowlawn Cemetery in Lawrenceville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, June 4 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
