	Mr. James Winton Heard, age 75, of Jefferson, GA formerly of Buford, GA passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Truman and Ellene Heard. He is survived by his wife, Dovie Moore Heard, Jefferson, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Danny Pugh, Buford, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Lou Ellen Heard, Jefferson, GA; four grandchildren, Bradley Heard, Jason Heard, Shannon Ritchie and Ryan Pugh; six great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Linda Heard, Hoschton, GA and Randall and Carol Heard, Auburn, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Heard was born September 30, 1936 in Buford, GA and graduated from Buford High School and also a college graduate. He was a veteran serving in the United States Army. He was a retired carpenter and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Buford, GA. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA with Reverend James Moore officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery Friday by 1:15 p.m.
