	Mr. Arthur Ray Martin, age 66, of Jefferson, GA, formerly of Buford, GA passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Huelon E. Martin and son, Jerry Franklin Martin. He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Dianne Moore Martin, Jefferson, GA; children, John and Karen Martin, Lexington, KY, Denise Martin Pattavina, Athens, GA, Chuck Martin, Gainesville, GA and Elizabeth and Josh Ewing, Cumming, GA; eleven grandchildren, Amber Martin, Arthur Martin, Amelia Martin, Taylor Martin, Henry Pattavina, Madison Martin, Anna Martin, Hannah Ewing, Adam Pattavina, Joseph Ewing and Olivia Ewing; mother, Ruby Lee Westbrooks Martin, Buford, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Emory and Lucy Martin, Morganton, GA, Vick and Carol Martin, Suwanee, GA, Ricky Martin, Buford, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Mabel Martin Herrington, Buford, GA, Martha and Rev. Harry Brogdon, Sugar Hill, GA and Teresa Martin Shepherd, Dacula, GA; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. Mr. Martin was born March 28, 1946 in Buford, GA. He was a 1964 graduate of North Gwinnett High School, Suwanee, GA. He was a veteran serving in the United States Air Force for eight years and was a victim of Agent Orange during the Vietnam era. He was a retired superintendent for Hamby Construction Co. in Lawrenceville, GA for thirty-two years. He was a member and usher of Old Suwanee Baptist Church in Buford, GA. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. at Old Suwanee Baptist Church in Buford, GA with Rev. Tim Campbell and Rev. Doyle Jackson officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Old Suwanee Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Serving as pallbearers are Vick Martin, Michael Pass, Stephen Moore, Stanley Ewing, David Moore and Pete Pattavina. Honorary pallbearers are Emory Martin, Harry Brogdon and Ron Moore. The ushers of Old Suwanee Baptist Church will serve as Honorary Escort.
