	Mr. Gene Shadburn, age 62, of Braselton, GA passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father, Troy L. Shadburn; brother, Robert Shadburn; and sister, Lou Ann Shadburn Cochran. He is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Peggy Loner Shadburn, Braselton, GA; children, Billie Anne Shadburn, Hoschton, GA, Tim Shadburn, Hoschton, GA, Amy Comfort, Jefferson, GA, Brandy Goller, Auburn, GA, Jessica Findley, Lula, GA, Robert Shadburn, Braselton, GA and Matthew Shadburn, Braselton, GA; fourteen grandchildren; mother, Eula Jean Samples Shadburn, Flowery Branch, GA; sisters, Gail Calvert, Buford, GA, Patsy Crane, Flowery Branch, GA and Joyce Hannah, Flowery Branch, GA; seven brothers, Rev. Joel Shadburn, Cleveland, GA, Paul Shadburn, Buford, GA, Rev. Charles Shadburn, Cumming, GA, Royce Shadburn, Buford, GA, Rev. Morris Shadburn, Sugar Hill, GA, Henry Shadburn, Gainesville, GA and John Shadburn, Murrayville, GA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Shadburn was born March 1, 1950 in Cumming, GA. He was a cabinetmaker employed by Hill Cabinet Co. He was a member of Peoples Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Peoples Baptist Church, 6182 McEver Rd., Flowery Branch, GA with Rev. Joel Shadburn, Rev. Morris Shadburn and Rev. Charles Shadburn officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Flanigan Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses in memory of Gene Shadburn.
