I haven't seen her in quite some time, but I do remember all the good times and her never ending energy!! She and I were very close for many years and she will be missed!! Prayers going out to you. 	Kathryn Elena Myers, age 42 years, passed away September 18, 2012 after a courageous battle with liver disease. An Atlanta native, Kathy spent her short but inspiring life entirely here. She was preceded in death by her much loved father, David W. Myers of Atlanta, GA; great-grandparents, Arthur and Reba Owens of Winder, GA; grandfather, Harold Woods, Sr. of Snellville, GA; and uncle, Hal Woods, Jr. of Dunwoody, GA. Kathy is survived by her husband Fred Metz, Roswell, GA; mother, Jere Myers, Alpharetta, GA; grandparents, Eddie and Virginia Owens, Winder, GA; aunt Jene DeLeeuw and uncle Harry Siebold, Alpharetta, GA; uncle and aunt, Dr. Ed and Debora Owens, Rochester, NY; and many life-long friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in the memory of Kathryn Myers to Northside Hospital, Intensive Care Unit, Sandy Springs, GA.
