A lifelong family friend, I not only consider her a DEAR friend but a FAMILY member. There is no doubt in my mind that she is in a much better place, and I'm sure that she's already settled right on in....... and will be keeping everyone on the straight and narrow in heaven. 	Mrs. Olivia Bullock Holcomb, age 78, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Monday, October 17, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack S. Holcomb; parents, Dewey and Eunice Wood Bullock; and brother, Larry Bullock. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Shirley Bullock, Cedar Bluff, AL; nephews, Michael Bullock, Flowery Branch, GA and Mark Bullock, Buford, GA; great nephews, Brett and Lindsey Bullock, Flowery Branch, GA and Hunter Bullock, Flowery Branch, GA; great nieces, Krysten Bullock, Cleveland, GA and Megan Pass, Buford, GA; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara Ann and Jerry Holman, Tellico Plains, TN; other nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Holcomb was born July 13, 1933 in Buford, GA. She was a 1950 graduate of Sugar Hill School in Sugar Hill, GA. She was employed with Suzanna’s Kitchen, Inc. in Norcross, GA and had also worked for J. C. Penny’s in the Fabric Dept. for over twenty years. She was of the Baptist Faith. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Cain officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Olivia Bullock Holcomb.
