Clara Jean Robinson Stamps

Clara, then Clara Jean Robinson, met Narcell Stamps in 1972 at Hinds Junior College in Raymond, Mississippi. They fell in love and got married on November 27, 1975. It wasn’t long after that Narcell, Clara, and baby Constance moved to North Carolina. A knock on the door in Greensboro, North Carolina introduced Clara to Bible truths and set in motion a course in life full of faith, hope, and purpose. Clara symbolized her dedication to serving Jehovah in 1979. She did not keep her love for Jehovah bottled up. She shared it with her neighbors, children and husband. Eventually, her fine example caused her husband to take interest in learning Bible truths. The Stamps family, with two more additions - Alicia and Derek, moved to Buford, Georgia in 1986. In 1990 her husband Narcell and their two daughters Constance and Alicia dedicated their lives in service to Jehovah. It was with joy that Clara and her eldest daughter Constance served as regular pioneers in 1994. Clara’s life was filled with a dedicated service to Jehovah. She loved sharing her wonderful hope from the bible with whoever she talked to, including her doctors and nurses. Clara was dearly loved by her family and friends at multiple congregations of Jehovah Witnesses who she met over the years. Clara loved to sing and cherished the Kingdom Melodies Original Songs, with "Eyes of Faith" being her favorite. She also enjoyed jazz, big band music, and singing doo-wop with the family and the family parrot “Caesar”. Clara was an artist. She enjoyed painting, sketching, crafting, and making thoughtful cards. Clara is survived by her husband, Narcell Stamps; her daughters, Constance and Alicia Stamps; her son, Derek Stamps; her four brothers, Eugene, Richard, Tom, and George Robinson Junior; and her sister, Joanne Thurmond. Clara truly lived with eyes of faith in Jehovah God, and His son, Christ Jesus. She had a clear hope in the resurrection into Jehovah’s new system where all the pain, sorrow, and death of this system will be no more. That was her hope, and we know it’s real. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 995 Ednaville Rd, Braselton, GA.
