Diane Palmer Carder

Diane Carder (Palmer) passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Saturday, December 6th, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Braselton. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Gladys Louise Edwards, her Father Robert Charles Edwards, her Aunt Ella Lee, her Sister-in-law Margie Carder, brother-in-law Tommy Cook and son-in-law Chris (Elmo) Pass. She is survived by her Husband and love of her life, John Richard Carder and her children, daughter Jeannie Massie, daughter Trish & Donald Thompson, daughter Tonya & Mike Thomas, daughter Felicia Files. Her grandchildren, grandson Joshua & Jenn Massie, grandson Chastin Johnson, granddaughter Katie & Sean Lazarowski, grandson Andrew Thomas, granddaughter Megan & Marty Revis, grandson Stephen Goodson, granddaughter Brittney Hamm and grandson Cody Hamm; her great-grandchildren J.T. Massie, Kaleb Massie, Bella Massie, Maddie Mann, Wesley Johnson, Wyatt Revis, Colt Revis, Ivy Flowers, John Lazarowski, Ella Massie, Tommy Massie, Matthew Van Buren, Skylar Massie, Zane Revis; great-great grandson Amos Massie; mother-in-law Bessie Tolbert, brother Raney Palmer, brother-in-law Larry Carder and best-friend Melinda Murray. Diane’s family was her world from crocheting them warm things to always listening to their every thought, Diane was always ready with a warm hug, “get whatever you want out of the fridge” and a “my soaps are on, hush”. We will miss hearing her yell at the TV during the Braves game and at John to get out of the deviled eggs at Thanksgiving. She was a force to be reckoned with and fought our battles with us, always by our side. The world is a little colder, a little less bright and a lot more boring without you. Thank you for making each of us feel important and reminding us that we matter. Thank you for being a friend. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens located at 1832 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 110, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
