Jason Wayne Wrape It was just before eight o'clock in the morning; the air was crisp, the sun had just risen on that day of February 7th, 2016, when Jason's long battle with brain cancer finally reached an end. His five year battle to overcome this tremendous giant, finally overtook his body. His will to fight was a testimony to his life and love for his family. His mind and body could now rest. His soul forever in heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jason's precious spirit inhabited his earthly tabernacle for thirty-nine years, five months, and eleven days. His incredible joy for life was never swayed by the pains of this world. His desire to embrace each day was inspiring to all that new him. His journey to heaven was peaceful as he passed from this world into the next going there in his sleep, with his family by his side. His body worn and frayed but his spirit and love for his family strong. Jason was always thinking of others. On more than a few occasions, he saved the lives of strangers. Jumping in and providing life assistance at just the right moment. God says there is nothing greater than a man can do than to lay his life down for another; that is what Jason did wherever and whenever he saw where he could. His character was one that those around him couldn't help but admire. He was a pride and joy to his parents and an inspiration to all that knew him. Jason Wayne Wrape was born September 27, 1976. The eldest son of Eric Wayne Wrape and Carol Shirley Wrape. Jason is survived by his wife, Christine Dianne Wrape, with whom he shared 17 years of marriage together and his two precious daughters, Lissa Elaine Wrape and Mckenzie Christine Wrape. The greatest love and devotion for his wife and daughters was the anchor to his soul. He had two sisters, Felicia Grace Wrape and Fallon Shirley Dininger. His extended family and friends are like the multitude of stars in the sky, each one beautiful and brightly shone light into his life. Additional family members that he leaves behind are; his in-laws, Ron and Laura Coppedge, his sister Fallon's husband, Benjamin James Dininger; his wife Christy's brothers, TJ Coppedge and Justin Kendall and her sisters, Jennifer Kendall and Nikki Viera. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Derek Spain officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted.
