Lena Mae Mauldin

Lena Mae Graham Mauldin, age 96, of Buford, GA passed away Friday, November 9, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Mauldin; daughter, Pat Wages; son-in-law, Kurley Wages; son, Bobby Reagan; parents, Plummer and Maudie Graham; brothers, Cleo Graham, Allen Graham, J. T. Graham, John Graham and Ernest Graham; sisters, Mattie Leaphart and Nancy Tullis; sisters-in-law, Bernice Graham, Vinnie Graham, Ellen Graham, and Dorothy Graham; brothers-in-law, Albert Leaphart, Howard Tullis, and J. C. Reeves. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Darryl Glover, Buford, GA; daughter-in-law, Dione Reagan, Dacula, GA; grandchildren, Darryl Wages, Harold Wages, Rebecca and Clark Pate, Resa Michelle Wages Ledford and husband Wayne, Angela Marie Humphries and husband Jonathon, Nicole Reagan, Alicia Reagan, Cassandra Reagan; Stacy Moss and husband Kevin, and Scott Glover; twelve great grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Rachel Jones Graham, Buford, GA; sister, Mary Lou Graham Reeves, Lawrenceville, GA; sister-in-law, Lillie Bell Davis Graham, Buford, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Mauldin was born January 3, 1922 in Walhalla, SC. She received her education at Earls Grove Elementary School and Moultrie High School in Moultrie, GA. Her work career included Georgia Slacks in Lawrenceville, GA, Lovable Company in Buford, GA, and Gwinnett County Mental Health as a houseparent. She was also a private caregiver. She was a long-time member of Duncan Creek Congregational Church in Buford, GA where she was the oldest church member and a member of the Adult Sunday School Class. Mrs. Mauldin was an avid gardener and enjoyed her flowers. She enjoyed doing things for other people. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great-grandmother and sister. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She was blessed with a long life. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. at Duncan Creek Congregational Church with Pastor Dr. James Dee Dillin officiating. Interment will follow at Duncan Creek Congregational Church Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 10 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
