Twaunette McLeroy

Twaunette (Toni) S. McLeroy (age 44) of Suwanee, GA was born January 10, 1972 in Biloxi, Ms to Brian F. McLeroy and Annette McLeroy. Toni grew up as an only child with several opportunities to travel the world as both of her parents were military. She grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah where she accepted Christ in her life and united with World Wide Gospel Church. She finished high school in Salt Lake and received a music scholarship at the University of Utah. Shortly after, she started her adult career with Holiday Inn Worldwide at the Salt Lake Reservation Center (SLCRO). She moved to Charleston, SC and accepted a position at the Charleston Reservation Center (CHSRO) as a Reservation Supervisor. She was a professional from the heart with no tolerance for foolishness when there was a job to be done. While in Charleston, she united with Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Augustus D. Robinson, Jr. She later moved to Atlanta, GA with the same company and continued her career in the hospitality industry. While in Atlanta, She joined New Vision Christian Church along with her mom and daughter, who were baptized there. Toni went to sleep on Saturday night February 13th in Suwanee, GA and woke up Sunday morning February 14th (a day of love) in Heaven, where the streets are paved with gold, in the arms of Jesus. Oh, what a good place to be! For to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Hallelujah! She was always a high energy person with a radiant smile, and a good team player with fairness and honesty. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Toni is survived by her daughter, Tami A. Grimes whom she loved dearly and her mother, Annette McLeroy, her father, Mr. Brian McLeroy. She leaves the following aunts: Sandra (William) Davis, Valerie (James) West, Mary Ann (Roland) Brown, Sharon Foster, Armita Jenkins, Angela Miller, Dee (Kevin) McKinney, Colleen (Rick) Bollinger, Claudette McKay. The following uncles: Gary Foster, Mark (Lynn) McLeroy, Bernard McLeroy, and Paul McLeroy. She leaves to cherish her memories a host of cousins, close friends and respected colleagues. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 noon.
