"WILLIAM "BILL" BURKE SENTER 7/2/41 - 7/6/16 William ("Bill") Burke Senter, loving Son, Husband, Father and Grandfather, passed away suddenly on July 6, 2016 and will be greatly missed. Bill was born on July 2, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio and was preceded in death by his Parents Robert Senter and Virginia (Glaser) Senter and his lovely Wife, Judith Ann (Schaadt) Senter. Bill is Survived by his Daughter Marilyn Christine (Christie) Snezek and Son-in-Law Carl R. Snezek, III and Granddaughters: Jacqueline Michelle (Jackie) Snezek and Elisha Rosemarie (Elise) Snezek. Bill graduated from North High School, Columbus, Ohio in 1960. He and Judy married on September 4, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio and were able to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in 2014. Bill was a dedicated employee who worked for Shoe Corporation of America (SCOA) as Mailroom Supervisor for over 25 years, then for Delta Dental, Qualex, Inc. and the State of Ohio Rehabilitation Services. Bill enjoyed playing basketball in Church Leagues in Junior High and High School. He and Judy bowled individually and together in leagues for many years. Bill was an avid bird watcher and dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers Fan, even befriending his favorite player Lynn Chandnois. Bill and Judy moved to Suwanee, Georgia in 2005 to be with their family following a series of health issues. They moved to Courtyard Gardens Assisted Living in Lawrenceville, Georgia in 2007 where they were blessed with wonderful, loving caretakers and many friends. He served as president of the Residents' Council for several years. Following Judy's death in 2014, Bill moved to Brighton Gardens Assisted Living in Atlanta, Georgia, where again he was blessed with many wonderful, loving caretakers and many friends. Bill enjoyed playing Wii Bowling with his friends and also Bunco with Christie and their friends at both Courtyard and Brighton Gardens.
