Zhivagao Omar Cannel Swain

Zchivago Omar Cannel and his twin, Zchivagla Omarra Cannellyn Swain, were born on April 17th, 1973, to proud parents Paula Louise Brown (deceased) and Bishop Cannel Francis Swain, at the Princess Maragret Hospital, Nassau, Bahamas. The second bundle of joy to grace the Brown clan, Zchivago and Zchivagla stole the hearts of the entire family. They were the little angles who were immensely loved and spoiled by all. Zchivago or ‘Bubba’ as he was lovingly called, and Zchivagla, were raised and nurtured in the Anglican faith, where the Brown family were active members. The twins were christened at St. Matthew’s, East Shirley Street and confirmed at St. Gregory’s, Carmichael Road. It was through his attendance and involvement in church that he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. Before relocating to Atlanta, Georgia, in 1995, Zchivago was a regular parishioner at St. Gregory’s Anglican Church. His earthly journey was not easy, but because he knew who he was and whose he was, he was able to put the pieces together and move on with a renewed faith. Zchivago’s education began at St. Mathew’s School where he completed both pre and primary schools there. He then transitioned to St. Anne’s High School for a few years before completing the requirements to graduate from R.M. Bailey High School in 1989. Wanting to further qualify himself academically, he continued his studies in Business with a concentration in Accounting at Miami Dade Technical College, Miami, Florida. On April 1st, 1995, his mum Paula, and stepfather Kevin, along with his siblings, left Nassau to reside in Atlanta, Georgia. It was there that his family thrived and was able to live comfortably. The many sacrifices of his parents ensured that their family lived a dignified life. And it was these experiences that no doubt made he and his siblings into the man and women they are today. On February 23rd, 1996, Zchivago received the most precious gift in his life, his first child, Zchivago Spencer Cannel Swain. In January of 2009 he married Della Denise Swain. No children were born to this union so there was more love to share with each other. However, on July 25th, 2014 Sean Leanna Swain was born and on April 5th, 2015, his third bundle of joy, Marva Louise Cannellyn Swain was delivered, and his world was now complete. He loved his children and always wanted the best for them. In September 2012, Zchivago returned to The Bahamas and was employed at Ranmar Construction Company until the time of his death. He was dedicated to the trade and gave it his best as was expected. Zchivago built lasting relationships wherever his went. He was full of life and loved with a trusting heart and a humble disposition. He loved to commune with God, laugh, travel, eat and spend time with family, whether on the phone or in person. He called his Aunt Marva several times daily to let her know that he was ok. He would call his twin for breakfast, lunch and dinner and any time in between to assure her he loved her or just to talk about everything or nothing at all. Zchivago, you were indeed a special part of our lives, and we will forever cherish and hold close to our hearts your memory. May the God that kept you on your earthly journey, lead you into eternal rest.
