Barbara Williams Carr, 79, of Buford, GA passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of five years, J R Carr; parents, Charlie and Janie Knight Williams; sisters, Betty Brown, Lois Howard, Eva Carlyle; brother, Jack Williams; and son-in-law, Chris Armour. Mrs. Carr is survived by son, Jess “Ronnie” Farmer (Donna) of Middleburg, FL; daughter, Kim Armour of Flowery Branch, GA; grandchildren, Catherine and David Phipps, Justin and Jessica Farmer, Brenden Armour, Gavin Armour, Justin and Kayla Hall, Tyler Hall, Hannah and Chase Norman; four great grandchildren; brother, Douglas Williams (Claudette) of Lawrenceville, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Carr was born on April 4, 1942 in Buford, GA. She was a 1960 graduate of Buford High School. Mrs. Carr had served in the Marine Corps for three years, and was retired from Walmart in Buford as a greeter. She also had worked for CIBA Vision Incorporated. Mrs. Carr attended the Buford Church of God. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Joey Grizzle officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 26th from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
