Betty Jackson Sadler Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Ms. Betty Ann Sadler was born November 7, 1948, in Buford, GA to the late Roy Edward and Betty Jackson. She departed this life on Friday, June 3, 2022, in her home in Lithonia, GA. She grew up in Buford and attended and graduated from Buford High School in 1966. After completing school, she married the late Hershell Sadler and had three children. Her focus was to provide and ensure her children grew up in a loving environment. She later went on to work at General Motors in Doraville, GA and retired in 2006. Although she enjoyed retirement, sitting around the house was not for Ann. She began working part time at Walmart in Conyers, GA in 2008 and was there for over 10 years. Ann loved a good card party, Sam Cooke and most of all, her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Stone Mountain, GA. She leaves a legacy of love to her children, Carlton Sadler (Melinda) of Augusta, GA, Donya Davis of Lithonia, GA, and Christopher Sadler (NeAndra) of Conyers, GA; brothers Roy Jackson (Tammy) of Oakwood, GA , Nate Jackson of Douglasville, GA, Calvin Jackson of Norcross, GA and sister Mary Young (Charlie) of Buford, GA and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home officiated by Pastor John Haynes. Interment will follow the service at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Flanigan Funeral Home.
