Carolyn McGee Smith, age 73, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Pauline McGee. She is survived by her husband, Bill Smith; children, Kim (Andy) Bowers, Lawrenceville, GA, Robyn (Chad) Haney, Lawrenceville, GA, Lee (Misty) Smith, Dacula, GA; 6 grandchildren, Blake Bowers, Jordan Stockman, Jacob (Brooklyn) Bowers, Tori Bowers, Mitchell Pearson, Dylan Smith; 3 great-grandchildren, Brylon Bowers, Bryler Bowers, Jay Bowers; sisters, JoyceAnn Rooks, Brenda (Deryl) Duncan, Debbie Dusenberry; brother, Dennis McGee; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Smith was born on November 5, 1948 in Lawrenceville, GA. She was a 1965 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School. She was also an interior decorator for Home Interiors. Mrs. Smith was a member at 12Stone Church, Lawrenceville, GA. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed going to the beach and shopping. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2022 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Lawrenceville, GA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening, February 11, 2022 at the funeral home.
