Dolores JoAnn Whetsel Holtzendorf, age 90, of Cumming, GA passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-five years, Edward W. Holtzendorf; parents, Walter and Jesse Whetsel; sister, Eleanor Jane Boor; brothers, Robert Whetsel, Charles Whetsel, Gomer Whetsel, and Bill Whetsel. Mrs. Holtzendorf is survived by children, Marcey Holtzendorf of Cumming, Elizabeth Coile of Augusta, GA, William Holtzendorf of Cumming; seven grandchildren, Jessica and Barry Mize of Monroe, GA, Michael and Brittney Johnson of Buford, GA, Chris and Evelyn Coile of Savannah, GA, Jennifer and John Clendenen of Cumming, Shawn Coile of August, GA, Karen Coile of Maryland, Brenda Coile of Augusta; fourteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Holtzendorf was born on May 13, 1931 in Union Town, PA. She was a 1948 graduate of Union Town High School, and she was a retired bookkeeper for Wink Davis Equipment Company in Atlanta, GA. No formal service is being planned. The family will received friends on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home.
