Harold A. Brannon, age 79, of Buford, GA passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021. He was preceded in death by his son, Chris Brannon. Mr. Brannon is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, JoAnn Bradford Brannon of Buford; children, Wanda and Michael Mitchell of Buford, David Marsingill of Sugar Hill, GA, Tim Marsingill of North Carolina, Gena and Ricky Day of Flowery Branch, GA, Jeff Brannon of Buford; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Doris Brannon Thomas of Buford; brothers, Danny and Vickie Brannon of Pendergrass, GA, J. C. Brannon of Buford; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Renee and James Terry of Flowery Branch, GA, Ethelene “Kim” Powers of Buford, Ricky and Nena Bradford of Flowery Branch, Jerry Seabolt of Flowery Branch; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Brannon was born on September 1, 1942 in LaFayette, GA. He was a veteran of the U S Army, and he was a retired truck driver and carpenter. Mr. Brannon loved working in his garage and rebuilding old cars. He was a handyman who also loved gardening and going to flea markets. Mr. Brannon was very devoted to his family. He was of the Church of God faith. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Jordan Copeland officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 29 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, November 30 from 11:00 a.m. until time for the service at 3:30 p.m.
