Hazel Virginia Green, age 85, of Buford, GA passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Clay Douglas Green; grandson, Joshua Green; and brother, Clyde Beavers. She is survived by her son, David Green of Jefferson, GA; grandson, Blake and Cherie Green of Hoschton, GA; granddaughters, Jocelyn Green of Cumming, GA and Rhiannon Green of Decatur, GA; great-grandchildren, Maci Green and Miles Green; sisters, Betty Beavers of Eagle Mountain, TN and Ima Rogers of Scottsboro, AL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Green was born November 3, 1932 in Scottsboro, Alabama. She graduated from Stephenson High School, class of 1950, retired from DuPont Industries and was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Lamar Holley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
