Heath J. Masters, age 21, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Cloy and Vernell Etheridge Masters, and grandfather Norman G. Welch. Mr. Masters is survived by his parents, Donnie Joe and Lela Welch Masters, of Lawrenceville, GA; sister, Carly C. Masters of Lawrenceville, GA; grandmother, Aloisia Patterson of Columbus, GA; aunts, Norma Phillips (Rick) of Covington, LA, Peggy F. Welch of Ypsilanti, MI; uncle, Douglas Masters of Winder, GA; cousins, Courtney Van Tassel, Megan Cludzinski, Katie Blank, Emily Rogues, Mia Phillips. Heath was born on November 18, 2000 in Lawrenceville, GA. He was home schooled, graduated from Gwinnett Tech and North Georgia College. Heath was baptized at 12 Stone Church in Dacula, GA. He enjoyed video games, movies and metro music. Our hearts are broken, our lives forever changed. This beautiful child that came into our lives 21 years ago filled our world with love, joy, blessings and adventures. We were blessed to watch him grow into a fine young man. A loving son and brother, a caring and nurturing friend. Heath left this world too soon, but our love and memories of him will remain in our hearts until we meet again. As hard as it will be to live in this world without him, we entrust him to God’s care. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chris Gaddis officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.
