It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Marie Bush Estep of Buford, GA born in Lockport, NY. Helen passed away on July 13, 2022 at the age of 93, leaving behind many loved ones and friends. Bush and Florence Owens Bush; her husband William Roscoe Estep; her brother Robert Bush and her sister Mary Louise Bush. She is survived by her children; Betty Estep in Buford, GA; Marie Cassick in Hampton, VA; Glen Culverwell in Lockport, NY; and step-son, Paul Estep in Dayton, OH in addition to 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her utmost favorite pastime was playing cards, but she also loved to go to the movies; going out to eat at her favorite restaurant (IHOP); visiting family; attending plays; touring the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Georgia Aquarium and the Biltmore House and watching the hummingbirds and sing songs to them while admiring her various flowers outside. In her younger years she sang in the choir at Christ Episcopal Church in Lockport, NY. She was a very caring and loving woman, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all. Helen has requested that her cremation remains to be placed in the columbarium at Christ Episcopal Church in Lockport, NY next to her deceased husband. There will be a memorial service at a later date in Lockport, NY.
