Jacquey "Jackie" Clark Ferrell Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

On June 27, 2022, Jacquey (Jackie) Clark Ferrell died at her home in Flowery Branch, GA, at the age of 89. Jackie is survived by her daughters, Laura Elizabeth Wood, Melinda Raquey Sprangle and Virginia Adele Morris and multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Clifton (Cliff) Ray Ferrell. Also preceding her in death was her parents George Albert Clark and Elizabeth Carinne Clark and bother George Albert Clark, Jr. [Jackie] was born on Sept, 23, 1932 in Mississippi. She graduated from high school in Jackson, TN. After graduation she married her childhood friend and sweetheart, Cliff. They moved to central Illinois and settled in Creve Coeur where they raised a family and developed a construction business. Jackie also worked as a secretary and Cliff at Caterpillar. Astor, FL was their retirement home until settling in Moultrie, GA. When widowed, Jackie moved to Atlanta, GA area. Jackie was an active participant in church life at the Wesleyan Church in Creve Coeur where she formed and directed the Christian Youth Crusaders for many years. Her ministry was often thru music as her beautiful soprano voice soared to uplift all who heard. No memorial service or funeral is planned. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to The American Kidney Fund.
