James "Jim" Conley

James “Jim” Conley, age 78, of Hoschton, GA passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Barbara Conley. Mr. Conley is survived by his daughter, Patricia “Patty” Conley of Buford, GA; son, Robert Conley (Marie); grandchildren, Nicholas Maxey of Buford, GA, Crystal Renee Conley of Bethlehem, GA, Cody Conley (Samantha) of Bethlehem, GA; great-grandchildren, McKenzie Prince, Taylor Carnes, Tristen Conley, Addisen Conley, Carsen Conley; nephew, Chip Siller (LeAnne) of Murphy, NC. Mr. Conley was born on January 8, 1943 in Andrews, NC. He graduated from Andrews High School in 1962 and was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Conley retired as building contractor from Will-Thack Co. after 26 years of service. He was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church, Lawrenceville, GA, a Mason with Auburn Masonic Lodge No. 230 F.& A.M. and a Shriner and member of the Yaraab Temple in Atlanta, GA. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, officiated by Dr. David Poe and Dr. Frank Cox. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Flanigan Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in memory of Jim Conley.
