Jerry Lee Roebuck Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jerry Lee Roebuck, age 82, of Sevierville, TN, formerly of Buford, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. He was preceded in death by sons, Jeff Roebuck and Keith Roebuck; parents, Herman and Bessie Roebuck; siblings, Vergie Davis, Edwin and Donnie Roebuck, Rymon and Opal Roebuck, Ruth and Clyde Davis; niece Linda and Jackie Johnson. Mr. Roebuck is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Elaine Gilleland Roebuck of Sevierville, TN; sons, Brian (Leigh) Roebuck of Sevierville and Chad (Casey) Roebuck of Buford, GA; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Jo-Ann Sexton of Sugar Hill, GA, Janet Magahee of Buford, Kathy (Rob) Wolfe of Buford; brothers-in-law, Lamar (Gloria) Gilleland of Ila, GA, Phillip (Glenda) Gilleland) of Sugar Hill, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Roebuck was born on May 22, 1940 in Buford, GA. He retired from General Motors Assembly Plant in Doraville, Ga after thirty years, and was a member of U A W Local 10. Mr. Roebuck loved camping, the outdoors, trips to the Smoky Mountains where he stayed and never came back to Buford. He also loved spending time listening to music at the Rocky Branch Community Center. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Rocky Branch Community Center in Walland, TN.
