Joe Howard Neal, age 80, of Cumming, GA passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019. He is survived by his companion of thirty-three years, Johnnie Mae Youngblood Hayes, Cumming, GA; step-children, Kathy Hayes, Cumming, GA, Wanda and Barry Morgan, Jasper, GA, Betty Sue Smalley, Cumming, GA, Judy and Gentry Wade, Buford, GA, Lisa Thompson, Jefferson, GA; ten grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; nine step-great grandchildren; the extended family from the late Flora Youngblood family of Riverside Community. Mr. Neal was born April 23, 1939 in Dawson, GA. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Mr. Neal was a retired truck driver with Lawson Trucking Company. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 4:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Youngblood and Rev. C. T. Evans officiating. Interment will be at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. Visitation will be Thursday, October 10th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and on Friday, October 11th from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
