Linda Mae Vaughn Thomas Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Linda Mae Vaughn Thomas, age 63, of Murrayville, GA, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Calvin and Lula Mae Sanders Vaughn; brothers Jerry Vaughn and Ronnie Vaughn. Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bennie Thomas, Murrayville, GA; children, Donna (Kyle) English of Clayton, GA, Benjamin “Buck” (Sheila) Thomas, Jr. of Dahlonega, GA; three grandchildren, Hanna Lynn, Lily Thomas, Brilie English; brothers and sister-in-law, Larry Vaughn of Cleveland, GA, Harry (Melanie) Vaughn of Loganville, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Thomas was born on October 5, 1958 in Buford, GA and graduated from North Gwinnett High School. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She lived most of her life in Buford, GA before moving to Murrayville, GA in 2006. She enjoyed being outdoors, planting flowers, camping, fishing and most of all, spending time with her family. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA, with Rev. Teddy King officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., prior to the Service. In Lieu of Flowers, the family ask for memorial donations to be made to Flanigan Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
