Margaret White Jackson

Margaret White Jackson, age 82, of Sugar Hill, GA, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022. She was preceded in death by her son Steve E. Jackson, Jr.; parents L.C. and Lilly Collins White; sisters, Eva Peeples, Sarah W. Johnson, Lonnie Mae W. Ashworth; brothers, Vick, Kelly, Herman and Ralph. Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband of 60 years, Steve E. Jackson, Sr. of Sugar Hill, GA; children, Sandra Wheeler (Brad) of Stephens, GA, Lisa Carrier (Eric) of Canton, GA, Michael Jackson (Valorie) of Winder, GA; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Gene Jackson of Cumming, GA, Frank Jackson (Tammy) of Sugar Hill, GA; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Mrs. Jackson was born on March 28, 1940 in Suwanee, GA and graduated from Suwanee High School where she was Valedictorian of her class and a member of the Beta Club. She graduated from Business College. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Sugar Hill Baptist Church for 60 years and a member of the Carolyn Hill Sunday School Class. She served on the Baptismal Committee and was very active in numerous events at the church. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Ashworth officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sugar Hill Cemetery, Sugar Hill, GA. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Flanigan Funeral Home.
