Mary Ann Milton

December 19, 1939 - January 10, 2022

Our dear Mary Ann passed unto our Lord on January 10th, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. She was born to the late George Michael and Mary Davis Clark on December 19th, 1939 in Montgomery AL. During her lifetime she resided in AL, VA in the 1970’s, NJ in the 1980’s, and settled in the Cumming GA in the 1990’s. She touched many lives and will be remembered with a fond heart. Her memory will be most cherished by her devoted husband of almost 60 years, James Thomas Milton, of Cumming GA. She will be able to watch over our loving family from now on and we as well will miss her smile and caring heart. Her Daughter, Linda Sautter and son in law (Kevin) of Sumerduck VA. Her grandchildren, Daniel Sautter and April Jeffers as well as great grandchildren Phoebe Sautter and Barrett Jeffers. Her Daughter, Karen Sheehan and son in law (James) of Brookhaven GA. Her grandchildren Conor Sheehan, Brendan Sheehan, and Jessica Sheehan. Her Son, Michael James Milton of College Park GA. She will also be missed by her cousins, Elizabeth Conklin and Clark Walker as well as the Schwentker family (Dad’s cousin). As always, her 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren will remain her greatest joy. Mary Ann remained a life long catholic, she attended Catholic High in Montgomery AL and continued on to Webster University in St. Louis MO where she earned a BS in Mathematics. She has been an active parishioner at Saint Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church in Cumming GA for over 25 years. Mary Ann’s love of the outdoors, camping, and swimming at an early age drew her into the Girl Scouts and she received a 60 year commendation for her volunteer efforts. As a volunteer leader and trainer she went on many trips to teach her outdoor cooking skills class. For her dedication to shaping many, many young minds she was awarded the Thanks II Badge, the Girl Scouts highest honor. She formed Atlanta’s Archives committee as well as served on the Trefoil Guild. While in NJ, In 1982 she founded the first computer classes taught at Immaculata High School in Somerville NJ. She was also a loved teacher of Algebra and Geometry there for several years. She kept her mind busy, even working through retirement. In GA she continued her passion with computers with HFP Technologies, LLC, as a senior software developer for 21 years. She will be missed everyday by everyone she touched in this life. Mary Ann valued friendship and family and has kept in touch with so many people over the years, even grade school friends all the way to college. May she rest in the love we all have for her and we will try to live by her gracious and kind example. A memorial funeral mass is scheduled to take place at Saint Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church 4633 Shiloh Rd Cumming GA 30040 770-502-7969 On Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 12p noon.
