Maurine Savannah Suddeth, age 83 of Gillsville, GA passed away on May 3, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Clara Mae Millsapps; husband, Calvin Gravitt; children, Franklin Thomas Gravitt, Kathy S. Edwards; sons-in-law, Ronnie Edwards, Wayne Bagwell; brothers, Charles Millsapps, Edward Millsapps, Doris Millsapps. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Bagwell, Gillsville, GA, Angel (Jimmy) Bryant, Alto, GA; sisters, Mary Ann (Billy) King, Gainesville, GA, Judy (Don) Bickham, Buford, GA, Wilma Tanner, Dawsonville, GA, Faye McKay, AL, Jake Millsapps, Cartersville, GA, Bessie Hornbuckle, Cartersville, GA; 4 grandchildren, Nathon Bagwell, Jefferson, GA, Jeremy (Sheree) Bagwell, Gillsville, GA, Holly (Taylor) Echols, Lula, GA, Kaylie Shea (Tristan) McCulley, AL; 4 Great-Grandchildren, Annielee Savannah Bagwell, Berklee Wayne Bagwell, Chezlee Belle Bagwell, Opie Alwin Echols; numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Suddeth was born on January 3, 1939 in Dallas, GA. She was a Master Wireman for Scientific Atlanta for many years. Mrs. Suddeth loved sewing, gardening, cooking and quilting. Her best love was taking care of her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Harmony Hall Baptist Church. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Rev. Billy King officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Baptist Cemetery, Gainesville, GA. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022 prior to the Service.
