Scott Mayfield, age 55, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellene Mayfield. Mr. Mayfield is survived by his brother, Shane Mayfield of Flowery Branch, GA; aunt Betty Loving (Dewey) of Buford; and several cousins. Mr. Mayfield was born on June 23, 1966 in Gainesville, GA. He had attended South Hall High school and graduated in 1984 from Johnson High School. He attended Buford Church of God. A joint Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Chaplain Jane Westerfield officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family will receive friends from 3:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the funeral home.
