On September 12, 2016, the Lord called one of His angels home, Sue Annette Watts, 81, of Buford, GA. She was at home with her loving husband of 51 years, Richard Watts (U.S. Army retired), at her side. Sue will be greeted in Heaven by her parents, Pauline and Denzel Keyser, and her oldest daughter, Deborah Jackson. Surviving along with her husband, Richard Watts; are her children, Danny Jackson, Dean and Susan Jackson, Todd and Kay Watts, Cindy Watts and Stacy Goen; along with her grandchildren, Christy and Selwin, Trevor, Brittany, Beth and Wil, Joshua, Cory, Mathew, and Arlayna, all mourn her passing and rejoice her life. A native of Cumberland, Maryland, Sue held several positions with the school district as a teacher's aid and assistant. Sue earned a Bachelor of Religious Education from Albany Bible College and Seminary in 1983. She and Richard, along with her children, traveled around the world as members of the U. S. Army; finally settling in Buford, GA, where she lived for over 30 years. She was a member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends and guests on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 6pm-8pm and before the funeral service on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 11am-1pm at Flanigan Funeral Home, 4400 South Lee Street, Buford, GA 30518. Chapel service will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 1pm officiated by a special friend, Dr. Jim Ferguson, with music presented by long time family friends, Doris Hughes and Keith Brown. The graveside service will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA officiated by Dr. Craig Dale, Pastor of Ivy Creek Baptist Church, as Sue will be laid to rest with her daughter, Debby. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Sue's name to Ivy Creek Baptist Church, 2500 Ivy Creek Road, Buford, GA 30519, (770-932-8453), or the Calvary Children's Home and Orphanage, 1430 Lost Mountain Road, Powder Springs, GA 30127.
