Vernon Lenoir Camp III, age 43, of Cumming, GA passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022. He is survived by his mother, Carol L. Weeks Mundy, Buford, GA; father, Vernon L. Camp, Jr., Dahlonega, GA; children, Jayce Scott-Camp, Bishop, GA, Caden Scott-Camp, Bishop, GA; fiancée, Mindy Bagwell, Cumming, GA; step-son, Casey Bagwell, Cumming, GA; sister, Veronica (Skip) Sevier, Dahlonega, GA; uncle, Larry Camp; aunt Deborah Camp, CA. Mr. Camp was born on August 4, 1978 in Decatur, GA. He was a 1997 graduate of Shiloh High School and earned his Associate Degree from Dekalb College, then his Bachelor’s degree in 2002 from GA State University and his Master’s Degree in 2012 from Walden University. Mr. Camp was employed with Forsyth County School System as a teacher at Forsyth Central High School, and hosted Team Trivia part-time. He was a member of Local Church in Dawsonville, GA. He studied language and enjoyed reading, hiking, and loved science fiction. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 30, 2022 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations go to Local Church Dawson in Dawsonville, GA or The JED foundation in honor of our beloved. The family request that mask be worn during visitation and service.
