Winnie Jean'B' VanDorpe, age 86, of Panama City, Fla., passed peacefully on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022, in her daughters’ home in SC. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was born September 19th, 1935 in Vernon, Fla to James Lymial and Ruby Arlin Hall. She was a member of Callaway Assembly of God. She was a waitress, Hostess, and Front House Manager of Captain Andersons Restaurant for 42 years. She is survived by her husband of 8 years, Bob VanDorpe; 4 daughters, Brenda Brown (Phil), Rhonda Baird (Randy), Shelly Laurita (Dan), Connie Meulburge (Tom), 2 sons, Broward Brahier (Karina), Kenneth Brahier (Jenny Sue); 3 great grandchildren and 14 grandchildren; one sister, Wanda Cain; numerous nieces and nephews who were a very precious part of her life; 3 step-daughters, Sue Ward, Nancy Robertson (Al), Cheryl Gebhart (Dan); 1 step-son, Bob VanDorpe Jr (Susan). She is preceded in death by her late husband, Fred Brahier, son, Wayne Lawsen Williams, grandson, Lucas Laurita, her father, James Hall; mother, Ruby Hall; 3 brothers, Wilburn Hall, James (Coot) Hall, Wade Hall; 2 sisters, Esther Shiver & Barbara Guerrero. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20th, 2022 at Grace Fellowship, address 117 N HWY 22-A, Parker, Fla. 32404 with Pastor Maxie Beauchamp residing; she will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery.
