Mrs. Amicia Oliante Joseph born Oliante Castellan on August 8, 1937 and died on August 2, 2026, at the age of 88 years. Born on August 8, 1937 in Haiti in the suburbs of Estère in the Artibonite (Haiti), Mrs. Amicia was the daughter of Mr. Monace Castellan and of Mrs. Antoinette Castellan born Jean Noel. She grew up in l’Estere with her family, two brothers and five sisters, Mone Castellan who’s no longer with us, Anne Marie Geffran, Elie Castellan, Dieumene Castellan, Auxanne Castellan, Alouse Castellan Raphael, Evelyne Castellan. Mrs. Amicia. She was very devoted to her brothers and sisters. Her parents was rice farmers, she grew up helping her parents in the farm , as the older daughter, she help her parent’s raised her younger siblings. She met Sekel Joseph in 1963 and they got married in November 1964, and from that union were born 5 children, Jhems (jahkoul), Marie Guercy , Marie Daddy, Gary (Shak), and Angelo. She had 15 grands children and 5 great grandchildren. She arrived in the USA in 1972, looking for a better life for her family. She worked very hard to educate her children. Mrs. Amicia and her husband has been a member of Hisblood Church since 2004 lead by Pastor Ade Omojola and his wife, sister Stella Omojola. , the Hisblood Church located in Toms River, New Jersey Manmie Djo spend her last days with her oldest daughter, Marie Guercy Marcelin, and her husband, her son-in- law, and her grandchildren in Georgia, and She went on to be with her Savior on August 2nd, 2026. We will always cherish her memories in our hearts and she will never be forgotten. She was a giver, very caring, and she loves everyone. We can tell from 2 Timothy 4 verse 7. She had fought a good fight of faith, she finished her course, she kept the faith. May she rest in Peace in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home at 11:30 on Saturday, August 22, 2026 with Pastor Maurice Marcelin officiating. Entombment will follow at East Shadowlawn Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum (87 Scenic Highway South, Lawrenceville, GA 30046). The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
