Carol Ann Kozlowski

Carol Ann Kozlowski, 89, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026 surrounded by love. Born in Montreal, Canada, on January 16, 1937, Carol lived a life centered around family, friendship, creativity, and giving to others. It seems especially fitting that she passed away on August 13th, as 13 was her favorite number. Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Kozlowski, Her 2 sisters Joyce and Diane. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her daughter, Catherine Kemp and her husband, Peter; her son, Todd Kozlowski and his wife, Barbie; her grandchildren, Brittany and her husband, Blake, Tarah, Cassidy, Nicholas and his wife, Madison, and Amanda and her wife, Amanda; and her great-grandchildren, Everley and Banks. Carol had a creative spirit and loved making things with her hands, especially sewing. She lovingly handmade many keepsake Halloween costumes and special gifts for family and friends. Her creations were made with patience, care, and love, and many will be treasured for generations to come. Carol also loved to entertain. She enjoyed inviting friends into her home for a luncheon, or simply gathering around the table for coffee and cake. She had a way of making people feel welcome and cared for. Her church family were an important part of her life. Carol was part of the Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church Kitchen Angels. Every Wednesday, she looked forward to spending time with her friends while preparing dinner for the church that evening. She was also a member of the church’s quilt ministry, where her love of sewing and her desire to give to others came together beautifully. Christmas was another special time for Carol. She loved decorating everything Christmas and loved baking an assortment of cookies to share with family and friends, filling the holidays with the familiar tastes and traditions that will now bring back loving memories of her. Above all, Carol treasured her family. She loved spending time together, laughing, playing games, and simply enjoying one another’s company. Her greatest gifts were her love, her generosity, her creativity, and the many memories she created for those around her. Carol will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and church community. Her love will live on through the people she touched, the traditions she created, and the many handmade treasures that remain as reminders of her loving hands and heart. She may be gone from our sight, but the love she gave so freely will remain with us always.
