Morgan Tumlin, age 14, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016. She is survived by her parents, mother and step-father, Melisa and David Brewer, Buford, GA, father and step-mother, Jose and Lourdes Mejia, Lawrenceville, GA; sisters, Savannah Welch, Buford, GA, Madison Tumlin, Buford, GA; step-sisters, Liz Dominguez, Lawrenceville, GA, Mary L. Dominguez, Miami, FL; grandparents, Pamela and Scott Jackson, Auburn, GA, Johnie and TerryAnn Tumlin, Marietta, GA, Jose Mejia, Sr., MX, Celia Morales, MX; uncles, Bryan Tumlin, Cumming, GA, Michael Tumlin, Auburn, GA, Chris Jackson, Bethlehem, GA, Aaron Cox, Atlanta, GA, Ricardo Mejia, Lawrenceville, GA, Alfredo Mejia, Lawrenceville, GA; aunts, Dawn Hooper, Suwanee, GA, Silvia, Leticia, Cristina, Laura, Gabriela Mejia all from Mexico; and lots of many loving cousins and other loving family members. Morgan was born on January 4, 2002 in Winder, GA. She was an up and coming 9th grader and loved the band, she played the saxophone and she planned to learn to play the flute. She was also in the Color Guard. She loved cooking with her mother, singing and dancing and watching Disney Movies and loved candy. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Blake Godbee from 12 Stone (main campus) officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
