Randall Flanigan

Randall Flanigan, age 64, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 20, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Erskin and Idean Buice Flanigan, father in-law and mother in-law, Rev. Jewell and Rosia McDaniel Jackson, and brother in-law, Johnny Johnson. He is survived by his wife of forty years, Kathy Jackson Flanigan, Lawrenceville, GA; sons, Jonathan and Rachel Flanigan, Winder, GA, David and Abbielise Flanigan, Lawrenceville, GA; granddaughters, Ansleigh, Brynleigh, twin granddaughters, Haleigh and Kynleigh; sister, Mary and Tim Massey, Hoschton, GA; brothers and sisters in-law, Roy and Elaine Flanigan, Buford, GA, Harold and Ida Flanigan, Hoschton, GA, Jerry and Ruth Flanigan, Winder, GA, Junior and Sharon Flanigan, Buford, GA, George Flanigan, Dacula, GA; sister in-law, Linda Jackson Johnson, Lawrenceville, GA, brothers in-law, Wendell and Snowdell Jackson, Lawrenceville, GA, Rolland and Phyllis Jackson, Lawrenceville, GA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; aunt Betty Pugh Buice, Buford, GA. Mr. Flanigan was born July 6, 1951 in Hoschton, GA, Duncan Creek Community. He was a 1970 graduate of North Gwinnett High School. He was employed with Gwinnett County Public Schools at North Gwinnett Middle School and also at Peachtree Road Baptist Church. He had also worked for Scientific Atlanta for twenty-eight years before the company moved to Mexico. He was an active member of Peachtree Road Baptist Church, Suwanee, GA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Peachtree Road Baptist Church, 142 Old Peachtree Road, Suwanee, GA 30024 with Rev. Jay Reed and Dr. Preston Moore officiating. Interment will be at Peachtree Road Baptist Church Cemetery, Suwanee, Ga. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
