Tania Stringer

Tania Michelle Stringer was born October 12, 1965 in the Panama Canal Zone in Central America to parents Willie Frank and Alicia Stringer. From an early age her education spanned from a plethora of schools including public, private and military — all across the country as well as overseas. From a young age, she loved to read, write and expand her knowledge with no limitations. As a child one of her hobbies was reading and reciting information from encyclopedias. Tania’s Christian journey started early in life. In the 1980s, her family moved to the Pittsburgh area, which started her journey at Elizabeth Ford High School in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania. Tania was such a proficient student she earned the majority of her credits that were intended per grade level at an advanced rate resulting in attending school half a day. This allowed her additional time to further her education. Her parents made the decision to enroll her, free of charge, at California State University in California, PA where her father was an ROTC instructor. In 1983, her father prepared for retirement, ensuring the relocation of the family back to Miami, FL. She enrolled at the University of Florida in Gainesville to complete her education. Along with her passion for knowledge, she was also very passionate about singing and joined a gospel choir while at UF, which traveled nationwide to perform. Tania has an amazing voice and would stir souls when she sang. In Tania’s 59 years of life, she lived a fulfilled life doing the things she loved and enjoying the relationships she cherished. She created lifelong friendships and traveled throughout the country living her dream of singing the gospel, leading choirs, following the Lord and ministering His word. Later in life, Tania joined her parents to live in Buford, Georgia where she lived out the rest of her years before she was called to Heaven to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 22, 2025, joining her younger sister, grandparents and a few friends. Leodia) Jones - Katy, TX, Mildred Williams - Douglasville, GA, Jo Ann Southerland – Melbourne, FL, Nilka Brown – Gastonia, NC; uncles: Dr. Roland Croney - Miami, FL, Claudio Croney – Republic of Panama, Carlos Croney – Republic of Panama; cousins: Lelburn “Mico” Gordon – Republic of Panama, LTC Alhambro (Tracey) Gordon – San Antonio, TX, Yanela “Mio” (Min. She always put everyone’s needs and wants before her own and strived to make sure everyone felt recognized and understood. We pray that God blesses Tania in her transition to His kingdom, as He blessed her experience in life. 59 years of life; an eternity of everlasting existence. Tania Michelle, you will be greatly missed. We love you. Rest peacefully. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home located in Buford, GA. Interment will follow at the Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., time of the Funeral Service.
